There are so many sadly glaring dichotomies here. The relatively rich middle class walk past children selling candy on the sidewalk; the Radisson Hotel stands next door to remnants of a half-demolished graffiti-covered scaffolding; polished-looking skyscrapers tower over valleys of trash, broken cars, and abandoned basketball courts; protesting crowds sing and yell in front of heavily armed (with full body shields and rifles) police guards.
